Introducing Nine Elms Parkside: the exciting redevelopment of a 5.6 hectare site in Wandsworth. Located between Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms market, and next to the new US Embassy, this project is at the heart of the vibrant Vauxhall Battersea Opportunity Area. At the core of the scheme is the stunning Nine Elms Linear Park, a green link that connects Battersea Park in the west to Lambeth Palace Gardens in the east – truly an oasis in the city. This impressive development features 894 build to rent apartments, situated in two twin blocks ranging from 10 to 17 storeys. Each block is designed with luxury in mind, boasting 12,500 square feet of amenity space. Residents can enjoy a stunning infinity edge rooftop swimming pool and spa, as well as two spacious outdoor terraces, serene yoga gardens, and even community herb gardens complete with beehives. Experience Serenity with Nature-Inspired Wood-Look Tiles

Pyro + Echo were selected to provide wooden effect porcelain tiles for the pool, spa, terrace, and amenity areas.

The goal was to create an attractive, functional, and long-lasting space for residents. Balancing warmth and safety was a key challenge.

The 20 mm thick, slip-resistant tile offered an ideal solution, being easy to clean and resistant to stains. With its natural wood appearance, the porcelain stoneware captures the essence of wood in a contemporary and inviting way.

This project entailed close collaboration with Aqua Platinum Projects, experts in pool construction, and meticulous attention to detail during the tile selection and installation processes. When choosing tiles for a swimming pool and steam room, factors such as durability, slip resistance, and visual appeal were carefully considered.
