Park Modern

Located in one of London’s most sought after areas overlooking Hyde Park, Park Modern represents the most ambitious park-side architecture to-date.

Contemporary apartments

Ambitious park-side architecture

Consisting of 52 apartments, 3 penthouses and 2 mews house, Park Modern offers the rare privilege of being able to buy new, contemporary apartments on the edge of London’s largest and most famous green space. Inside, the interiors have been designed to maximise the views, with large windows, high ceilings and a light colour palette allowing the surrounding parkland to do the talking.

The developers spent time hand-selecting natural stone tiles and designing the joinery, doors and ironmongery, to ensure “everything you touch feels special”. These design features continue in the reception areas and on the wellbeing floor, residents-only spa, with treatment rooms and a 25m swimming pool.

Durability and watertight integrity

Comprehensive Dukkaboard and Validus specification

In every bathroom and wetroom project, the incorporation of preformed Dukkaboard Shower-Trays and Dukkaboard L-Drains provided a level-access solution with a surface ready for tiling.

These components not only exhibited outstanding waterproofing capabilities but also guaranteed the durability and watertight integrity of the installations, contributing to their long-lasting quality.

Expertly crafted to order

Customized drain gratings were expertly crafted to order. The site shared a meticulous schedule for each bathroom, one floor at a time, enabling Trimline to efficiently manufacture shower trays and tailor-made gratings, all delivered within an impressive 10-day turnaround period.

The ideal choice

Contributing to the overall quality

Dukkaboard Original-Panels were specified as substrates for both wall and floor surfaces. Their lightweight, yet robust properties made them the ideal choice for supporting the natural stone and other finishes that the clients desired.

To enhance the overall bathroom experience for their customers, Trimline integrated the Dukkaboard Underfloor Heating System. This innovative addition not only delivered a heightened sense of comfort and warmth but also seamlessly integrated with the clients’ Building Management System, offering intelligent and efficient control of the heating throughout the building.

A secure and lasting bond

The installation of natural stone surfaces requires reliable adhesives, and Trimline specified Validus Velox and Sero adhesives for this purpose. These adhesives ensured secure and lasting bonds, contributing to the overall quality and aesthetics of the finished projects.

From the architect’s original sketch, of simple lines rising above the trees, the design of the building and the outdoor spaces have been considered as one. The fluid lines of the architecture complement the park to harmonious effect.
